Ford City's Borough Playgrounds

Ford City Borough owns and operates three playgrounds. Pictured from top to bottom, they are the Joe Malec (Seventh Avenue) Playground, Boulder Park and FordView Playground. Joe Malec Playground, formerly Seventh Avenue Playground, is dedicated to longtime Borough champion of children, Joe Malec whose efforts led to the development of the Borough's playgrounds. Many people remember Boulder Park as the site of the great Summer basketball leagues that drew teams from all over Western Pennsylvania. FordView Playground is located on top of the Hill overlooking Ford City.
